FTTC171 Thanks for the Memories....and some pictures!!!

Hope you all had a great weekend? Sarah's Confirmation turned out beautifully! She did a really good job leading the church sermon with our pastor. I have some pictures for you all on the bottom of this post.

We have a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge  ~ FTTC171 for you. Mona is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to create a *THANK YOU* card or tag.

I decided to make a *Father's Day* thank you card using the What a Catch Set. The image was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ B000, B00, B69, YG91, R59 and Colorless Blender.

My card was also combined with this weeks Color Q ~ CQC139 and The Paper Players Sketch #97. Please make sure to swing by their blogs to see all the details.

C4C138 Thanks a Bunch....

Happy weekend!!!

If you live here in the US, I hope you will have a fun and relaxing long Memorial weekend!!! We are having Sarah's Confirmation on Sunday, were she confesses her own faith in Jesus Christ. My husband and I are so excited and we are filled with joy! I will try to hopefully share some pictures :) !!!

Anyway, since it's been a busy weekend I will make it short and share my card for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C138. Barb's final challenge this month is to create a *ONE LAYER CARD*, one layer period!!! That means your base card is IT! Embellishments are allowed .... Die Cuts, Flowers, Ribbon, etc., just keep the one layer thing kind of simple.

Here is my idea......

I decided to ink up the beautiful newly released Flourishes Set ~ Hydrangea. The sentiment is from the Zinnias Set.

CQC138, FTTC170 Happy Day....and some pictures!!!

Happy Day everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend??? Today is a very special day...my sweet Rebecca is turning 11. She has been counting down the days...LOL! Since we'll have a busy week, we took her out for lunch on Sunday to her favorite place...can you guess...yes, it is Olive Garden!!!  I have a few pictures of my sweet baby at the end of the post...so stick around!!!

First I would like to tell you about this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC170. Beate is hosting and her challenge is to create a *FLOWER CARD* with one of our gorgeous Flourishes Stamps!!!

Here is my take on it....

I decided to ink up the beautiful Zinnias Set onto some Flourishes White CS. The image itself was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Marker ~ BG0000, B00, Y19, Y38, R14, R17 and Colorless Blender.  Next I added some *scoring*, Corrugated Cardboard, some Ribbon, a Silver Button, some Brown Scrapper's Floss, Glitter and some Silver Pearls. The sentiment is from the Tiny Flowers and Tag Set and it was stamped onto the Tailor-Made Classic Tags Template Die.

My color inspiration for the card came from this weeks Color Q #138....check out this fun palette...

Happy weekend everyone!

This weekend will be a none eventfull one.....just kickin' back and relaxin' ....hopefully! I'm looking forward to start inking some of my new stamps up that have seen no love at all :) !!!

I decided used the super cute Pure Innocence image called Bunch of Blooms. Next I added the some *scoring*, some Rickrack Ribbons, a Doily, Glitter and some Silver Pearls...voila.

Hope all you *Mother's* had a wonderful Mother's Day??? I sure did...my kids made everything so special for me :) !!! I'm truly blessed to be a mom of three beautiful smart girls! 

As promised I have some pictures of Sarah's 8th Grad Formal...waiting for you at the end of this post. She looked so beautiful and way to mature...LOL...I can't believe she is heading to High School this fall.

First I would like to show you my card for this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC169. Maki is our hostess and she has challenged us to *PICK A LETTER*. I chose the letter *B*...and I included...Button, Bow, Basic Grey and Bling.

I decided to ink you the beautiful newly released Hydrangea Set. The image was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ BV000, B02, YG11, G24. The DP on top is from the Basic Grey Little Black Dress Collection. The rest of my card was embellished with some  *scoring*, a punched out Scalloped Border,  Ribbon, matching Button, Scrapper's Floss, some Silver Pearls and some Glitter.
